I am so excited and incredibly grateful to share that I will be returning for my second year with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps! Being part of drum corps has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to continue this journey.

For those who may not know, drum corps is a world-class summer activity under Drum Corps International. Our season runs from late spring through early August, with rehearsals up to 12 hours a day and performances across the country. We travel by bus, sleep in high schools, rehearse in all weather conditions, and dedicate ourselves fully to performing at the highest level. The entire season leads up to the World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Drum corps isn’t easy. It’s long, hot days, constant growth, and learning how to push yourself beyond what you thought was possible. But it has shaped me in ways I never expected. It has taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence. It has given me friendships that feel like family and memories I will carry with me forever.

As a senior in high school preparing to attend Gustavus Adolphus College this fall (I’m still exploring what I want to study!), this season means even more to me. It’s another opportunity to challenge myself before beginning my next chapter.

The total cost for the 2026 season is $6,400. While I am committed to working hard and contributing what I can, I am hoping to raise $2,000 to help offset tuition and tour expenses. Drum corps is completely self-funded, so every donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page and cheering me on means just as much.
