I will be marching with the Bluecoats Rhythm IN BLUE SoundSport group this summer. It has been a very long journey to get here, going back and forth between wanting to march again but not being able to afford it. But my hard work has paid off and I can finally say that I am ready to march this summer. I am so grateful to be able to finally commit myself to a group like this for many reasons. First of all, the Bluecoats are my favorite drum corps in the entire activity. I admire their work ethic, creativity, and musicianship. I look up to their color guard, and corps as a whole, as a model for how I want to carry myself in this activity. I am inspired by their greatness and am extremely honored to be a member of their sibling organization. By marching with RIB, I will get to live out the Bluecoats experience at a fraction of the regular season time commitment. In addition, being taught by these incredible instructors and expanding my performance vocabulary is going to push me toward my dream of one day becoming a Bluecoat. This activity has been my everything since I was 13 years old, and even more so, musical performance is my life. I have paid off about $700 through hard work and dedication, and now I want to ask that you please consider helping me finish raising funds for my summer tuition. Even $1 will make my summer just that much easier, as there is a lot financially that goes into being with a performance ensemble. My drive will be about 6 hours, there and back, about twice a month. Gas is going to be very expensive, so I appreciate any donation possible
